ilovect

Third time is a charm!

Finally, Chrono Trigger was able to win a USL Madness contest since it started 2 years ago. Always coming 2nd place against previous winners Super Metroid and Super Mario Bros. 3, so congrats to this wonderful game.  You never gave up, so you deserve it.

And so it has won, why not dedicate an "I Love That Song!" segment to it with one of the most wonderful songs in the game.

Today's track is...

Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.

Today's track is Robo's Theme from Chrono Trigger

You just got Robo-Roll'd

Happy April's Fools ;D

Seriously though, all joking aside, Chrono Trigger has one of the most memorable soundtracks of all time. It is so acclaimed that it was one of the most requested soundtracks to play on Video Games LIVE, and they have finally played it last year.

Though no one knows if Robo's Theme is based on Rick Astley's song "Never gonna give you up" or is a mere coincidence, but the similiarty is there. And because of that it has became an alternative for the infamous internet meme "Rick-Roll".

So there you go, if this game is won USL Madness, then it truly means something.  Give it a try, the DS version can be found for cheap nowadays, so there's no excuse for not giving it a try, and give the soundtrack a listen, you'll truly be amazed by it.

If you have any comments or suggestions for future "I love that song" segments, please do so or contact us via Twitter: @olr, @Darktetsuya or me, @act_deft!

Until next time, keep on ROLLIN'!
