Nintendo Announces New Wii Menu, New Zelda Game PDF Print E-mail

GDC has started and Nintendo's keynote just ended and if you're a Nintendo fan (like me) you probably were watching the liveblogging that was going on.

Nintendo just announced a new Wii Menu update that is available right now! The big news from the update is that there is expanded support for SD cards in that you can download games directly from the Wii Shop Channel onto your SD card and play them off of the card! The system supports up to 32GB SD cards and 240 games.

Isn't this what Skie was begging for? Will this end his moritorium on buying games from the Wii Shop Channel? (If you remember this was discussed June 15th of last year)

Are you excited by this, or is it too late do you think?

Also announced was a new DS Zelda game called The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks with similar gameplay to Phantom Hourglass with the exception of a lot of trains.
