There is a lot of great news for retro gaming fans this week, as an old classic, Earthbound, finally makes a comeback thanks to the Wii-U version. Nintendo adds a little something extra to the game, but Rob asks if it could have been done even better. Dark Sakura has a SQUEE over a new Strider game being announced after all these years. The whole crew in studio has a laugh over some possible hints of Seaman, and some of the memes it inspired, making a comeback.

It feels like a trip down gaming memory lane in this episode. DarkSakura and our guest in studio rkdn42 talk about their trip to California Extreme in the bay area, and the video and pinball games they got their hands on. Later in the show, our Foogle question of the week has us remembering a time when arcades smelled like smoke and cheap pizza, and strobe lights were TOTALLY AWESOME.
Okay there is a lot going on in CURRENT gaming as well, as we take a moment to talk about pre-orders for the new systems and how well they are doing. Also, Nintendo gets caught up in some bad internet publicity this week with rights issues to streaming Smash Bros. from the EVO tournament. Isn't it high time for Nintendo to understand online???
