ILTS-V
- V (For EXTREME)
- V2 (aka V -Conclusion-)

Since the winter holiday season is upon us, I thought I'd do a timely pick that I don't believe I've done yet. V was originally featured in beatmania IIDX 5th Style. Based on Vivaldi's 'Winter' movement out of the 'Four Seasons' arrangement, dj TAKA took the song and remxed it for its appearance in IIDX. The song would later get a 'For EXTREME' edit in DDR, which while it does edit it down a little bit, is still a pretty awesome song still.

V -Conclusion- was a remix specially done for dj TAKA's 'Milestone' album, which featured one disc with some of his original work, and a 2nd disc with songs of his remixed by other artists. The song also made an appearance in beatmania IIDX 16: EMPRESS known as 'V2', as well as making an appearance in last year's Orange Lounge Revolution 2nd MIX (still available now, so check it out if you haven't!)

And speaking of Orange Lounge Revolution 2nd MIX, since we're coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the game FINALLY coming out, I think next week I'll be taking a look at a few of my favorite songs from that game. Including one with a tie-in to a story about a 'demake'whose creator recently wound up in legal hot water, so stay tuned for that next week!

Until then, have a happy holiday, and a happy new year!

The creators of Witcher 2 take a bold new stance against pirates, and why do some people in Call of Duty Black Ops have to be such dumbasses?

Bizzare Changes, Music Game Performances, Gran Turismo 5, Kinect, Marvel vs Capcom 3, 3DS Development, APB Relaunch, Nintendo prototypes and MORE on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice- Orange Lounge Radio!

The news this week sure feels like a downer when we get news of four different studios laying off and/or closing completley. That isn't a good way to start off the holidays... or is this sort of cycle normal? We get into our reactions. The blogs report that the music game downward trend continues, but obvioulsy as this is something near and dear to our hearts, we give some other perspective to think about. The Kinect is selling well... and some developers sure hope that 3DS games sell well to cover the cost!

In Part B tonight we talk about a very strange remake of Yars Revenge, and a very cool new pinball table from Marvel Comics. Then we take your phone calls, twitter topics, e-mails and MORE as we always do on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice-- Orange Lounge Radio!
