Hi everyone just a quick note to let you know that I've upgraded the podcast feed to sync with the one currently run on the OLR site here.

How do you get the new feed?
Most of you who subscribe through iTunes will have the new feed automatically already. For those of you using a third party podcatching software you may need to reenter the URL of the podcast feed. I've tried to make it so anyone pulling the old feed should automatically get the new one but if you're having problems simply subscribe here.

I noticed everyone seemed to like my pick from last week, so I might do more DDR songs in the future. but after listening to oldass episode #69 (www.olrchive.tk plug plug) this song was mentioned, and I remembered just how much I loved it back in the day.
Of course back then I wasn't nearly as good at IIDX as I am today, back in the day during our semi- (as in whenever the fuck we could all get together) annual BEMANI parties, I remember one in particular where I was attempting this song and just couldn't quite nail the scales at the end of it (where you'd hit the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 keys in rapid succession) so I'd always lose a large chunk of groove gauge and wind up failing... luckily today I'm much better and that ending part doesn't give me nearly as much trouble, while there are still some parts of it that give me issues, it's not enough to make me fail the song.

I knowI know, another BEMANI song. But let me explain.
So anyway DDR X2 finally released to Japanese arcades as of today (in Japan, since they're like eight hours ahead of us) and in addition to all the brand-new songs and crossovers from the other games, were some more Dancemania revivals, like this song.
But, what's really awesome is there's a remix of this song in DDR X2, done by BEMANI mainstay L.E.D.! I found a video of the song in action, hit the jump to check it out!
