It is another week here on Orange Lounge Radio and we start off tonight talking about some Microsoft News out of Gamescom. Fable 3 is announced, though we do not have too much news to go off of right now. What is also interesting is a new pay-as-you-go model for Fable 2. Could this be the future of how we pay for our video games? We discuss live in studio with our chatroom. Also, as a followup to the tragic loss of Robs 360 last week, a controversial statistic is released on the XBOX 360 failure rate... but microsofts response also surprises! It isn't all microsoft news tonight though, as we also talk about the new Warcraft expansion, and news about the Playstation 3 slim. Come on, you knew it all along. Also, comic books will soon come to the PSP... but does this mean we have to stop making fun of the PSP Go? Of course not! Also, in part B tonight... Rock Band news galore as well as our good ol mailbag. All this and more including your chatroom antics, phone calls, twitter topics and tons of discussion packed into a three hour show on the radio show where EVERY gamer has a voice: Orange Lounge Radio
Today's track is Subarashiki Shin Sekai (Brave New World) by Flair from Namco X Capcom
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.
Don't you love crossovers?
I certainly do, especially when Capcom's involved. Since you know there's gonna be some pretty insane stuff. Though this time Namco has taken the job. Namco X Capcom is an JRPG/Strategy game involving the most recognizable characters and mascots from each company. You can see Klonoa in Namco and Mega Man in another, and that's just an example. The character list is very vast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_%C3%97_Capcom#Character_list).
Though enough game talk, let's talk about the music. The intro, Brave New World, is a very good song, very emotional in a way. And it gets you excited to play the game, especially if you watch the video too. It's just plain awesome. And most of the soundtrack is made and arrange by Yuzo Koshiro, so you know it's gonna be great listening to some pretty recognizable tracks from your favorite Namco and Capcom games. Sadly the game never got released over in America, but there's a fan translation of the game available on the internet if you really want a give it a try.

Tonight in the first half of our show we talk about a pair of interesting new possible peripherals for the Wii. A marketing slide spills the details on a Wii Bicycle, while a trademark may have let slip something we can only seem to call the WiiSac . At least the Wii can soon play DLC off the SD cards, and will soon be the home to yet another karaoke game. In part B tonight, we talk about a scary Silent Hill attraction coming to Orange County that the cast of OLR might just have to roadtrip to, if for no other reason than to get Rob to scream like a girl on camera. Also, a developer behind the new Wolfenstein game makes a pretty big bet, and LOKI ups the ante ten fold in a way that only he can. Today's track is Neon Night-Riders from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.
I haven't met a person in the whole world who hasn't liked Turtles in Time. It was seriously one of the greatest arcade games back in the day, and possibly one of the best Beat'em Ups to date. But of course, what's a great game without great music. Turtles in Time offers a pretty good soundtrack through out the whole game, but I think the most memorable one is Neon Night-Riders. Simply because it truly fits the futuristic setting of the level and it's also a very catchy tune.
Of course there's also the SNES and XBLA version, but I think the arcade version is the superior one. But whichever version you like, you must agree that this is truly a great song.
