Breaking the boundries between heroes and enemies!
Today's pick is Across the Border by Asami from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is the most recent addition to Capcom's "Vs." brawler series. Now Capcom is facing a new rival which is an Anime company called Tatsunoko, possibly one of the most recognized and possibly the bigest in the industry. This game was only available to Japanese Wii owners, but it was recentely announced for American consoles too, so now more can enjoy this wonderful game and its soundtrack too!
Across the Border is the intro theme for the game. It's basically a J-POP song but it really goes pretty well with the animation secuence and it's a really energetic song, it gets you hyped to play the game! I know I want to!

Gamelan De Couple TOMOSUKE DDR EXTREME, MAMBO A GOGO!
Hopefully your fondest memory of this song isn't failing out of it during a freestyle tournament! :P
While the fate of 'DDR Vol. 1' may be in limbo, I still have a great DDR song as my pick this week! going all the way back to my first (and last) DDR freestyle tournament, I chose one of the most memorable songs in EXTREME's lineup, Gamelan De Couple!
This song was a transplant from the little-seen Konami title, MAMBO A GOGO! in the arcade. DDR EXTREME featured many crossovers from this game, as well as GF/dm, PPP, beatmania, IIDX, and many others! The song itself is a very 'fun' song, hopefully getting you in the mood for a Mexican fiesta!
Maybe Konami could include this in their next Wii installment, it would certainly be a fun song to add Wii/Nunchuck/Balance Board shenanigans to, in addition to just stepping on arrows.
I'm sitting here waiting for the Nintendo E3 conference to start.
Today's track is "Starbit Festival" from Mario Galaxy!
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.
Ok I admit I dropped the ball yesterday with E3 and everything happening. But today I've got one of my favorite songs from Nintendo's Mario Galaxy on of the best platformers of this generation. A lot of people seem to have forgotten just how great the music in this game is. It's the first Mario game with a fully orchestrated sound track and it sounds amazing! Here's hoping we find out about a sequel in just a few minutes!
We are catching up on our backlog of live shows (sorry, our storage drive died but we are back in business now). On this weeks show, we move to a brand new studio for the summer, and tackle some of the early E3 rumors. See which ones came true, and which ones were full of crap. All this and more on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice, Orange Lounge Radio.
