Skie will surely love this.
Today's track is Blaster Master Area 1 (Forest) theme
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.
This song was requested during the last show's musical break by Skie, so I am very happy to oblige. And it's a pretty awesome song, I really can hear why he loves it a lot!
This song is for the first level of the game, it makes you feel your ready for a big journey, it motivates you to go forward and achieve your goals! Go Blaster go!
If you want to post your opinion about today's track or you've got a song suggestion you would like to see featured from a game let us know in the comments and we'll see what we can do about featuring it in an up coming article!

Note that due to copyright I cannot make this song available for download. (And KONAMI WILL SUE :P)
Burning Heat! Composed by Mr. T feat. Motoaki Furukawa
I was originally stumped as to which song I was going to submit for today's entry, but given the rising temperatures (summer's almost here!) I thought I'd go with a particuarly hot selection, Burning Heat!
While most players are familliar with this song's awesome synths and rocking guitar riffs from its appearance in DDRMAX2: Dance Dance Revolution 7th Mix (or the extended edit in beatmania IIDX 7th Style) this song originally appeared in the previously Japanese-only Gradius II: Gofer's Ambition, which appeared in the Arcade, (Available on the Gradius Collection for PSP, thanks gs68!) as well as on the Famicom (NES), MSX, and even the PC Engine (TG16) CD-ROM! (And you can find that last one on Nintendo's Virtual Console service on the Wii!)

Or Nigel & Friday in the Temple of Doom!
Today's track is Mercator Harbor Town from Landstalker
Please note due to copyright issues I can not make this song available for you to download directly.
Sorry all for the late update but my darling wife had her birthday yesterday so I'm running a little behind!
For me Landstalker, created by Climax, is one of the greatest action RPGs of all time! If you grew up with the Mega Drive (Genesis) like I did this was your Legend of Zelda. Awesome storyline, great music, memorable characters and inventive puzzles make this game is gem. Landstalker had a remake announced for the PSP a while ago but production seems to have ceased. On the up side however you can grab the complete Genesis game from the Virtual Console on the Wii! I HIGHLY recomend giving it a try.
